Many people keep an eye on their favorite celebrities and watch what they eat and what they wear.  Many of us like to know which watches celebrities love to wear.  Many famous brand Swiss watches are found on the wrists of celebrities.  They can be status symbols or they can be designed especially for them.  Some celebrities are the face of a particular watch brand, such as Cindy Crawford as the spokesmodel for the Omega brand.

Some watches celebrities love to wear show their promotion of a cause, such as the Elton John models designed by ChopardAudemars Piguet created a watch for Arnold Schwarzenneger, who had been a long-time fan of their watches. Others are matched to the type of celebrity, like the Breitling Aerospace which combines classic styling with reliability of watch movement and is worn by Harrison Ford, who is often thought of as the ultimate adventurer.  Jewelry watches such as vintage Cartier have appeared on celebrities like Jennifer Aniston.    As you can see, the watches celebrities love to wear actually say quite a bit about their personalities and their likes and dislikes.

Not just celebrities of the silver screen, but high placed politicians also have a penchant for luxury watches.  For instance, Dmitriy Medvedev has shown a great respect for precision timepieces, and Breguet is his brand of choice.  Interestingly enough, Napoleon was also a fan of this line of watches.  Entrepreneur Bill Gates shows his style with the Patek Philippe Moon Sky model, which has two faces and shows an intriguing night sky on one face.

No matter your celebrity status, time is of the essence for everyone.  How you keep track of and spend your time helps to define you and the type of person you are.  With these celebrities, details such as the watches celebrities love to wear help to define their personalities for us.  Whether representing elegance, precision, or power, a luxury timepiece is an elegant way to show your style.

Rolex Milgauss on Wikipedia

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss is a highly collectible model introduced by Rolex in 1956 with the model number 6451. The Milgauss was designed as antimagnetic watch specifically for those who worked in power plants, medical facilities and research labs (like those in Geneva) where electromagnetic fields can cause havoc with the timing of a watch. The current model Milgauss is equipped with amagnetic alloy (Parachrom-Blu) hairspring[1] and movement encased by a Faraday cage. The name Milgauss is derived from the Latin mil, which means one-thousand, and gauss, the unit of a magnetic field. This model is so named because it can withstand a magnetic flux density of 1,000 gauss.[2]

The original Milgauss was very similar to the appearance of the Rolex Submariner, with an over-sized case and bezel, with the Twinlock crown, and a riveted Oyster bracelet. Although the Milgauss only went through two different models (6541, 1019) the Milgauss went through numerous configuration changes before being discontinued in 1988.

The Milgauss today remains a sought after model amongst Rolex collectors due to its relatively low sales and popularity during the 1960s and 70s,[3] it has become rare in today’s vintage watch market. A vintage Milgauss signed by Tiffany & Co. recently sold for over $32,000.[4]

In 2007, Rolex brought back the Milgauss after nearly two decades as the model number 116400. There are currently three versions: white dial or black dial with a standard colorless sapphire crystal, and the GV (Glace Verte) or “Anniversary” model, with black dial of a slightly different design and a green-tinted sapphire crystal. The GV is the only Rolex produced with a tinted crystal. Although initially rumored to be a limited edition, the GV version is still produced nearly 3 years later.[5]

Due to its internal Faraday cage, the Milgauss is larger than the Submariner at 41mm and weighs 157 grams. The Milgauss is only available in 904L polished stainless steel, an alloy that is extremely resistant to scratches and corrosion.[6] Aside from its resistance to magnetic fields, the Milguass’ most unusual feature is its orange lightning-bolt second hand, a unique feature in the Rolex lineup that was originally introduced with the 6541 Milgauss model.[7]

Proving he’s still a top entertainer, Charlie Sheen‘s tour, “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option,” sold out in record time. He’s obviously still making some cash, as he’s donating $1 of each sale to the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Fund, and has been tweeting photos of his Luxury Watch.

Charlie Sheen is now showing off a Patek Philippe watch, even tweeting photos of it, declaring it to be “The only watch that keeps warlock time”. Another cool item decorating the Warlock’s hand is one of Babe Ruth‘s old championship rings.  Charlie the #warlock has quite a history with this famous brand, he was actually robbed of his ultra-hip Patek Philippe Perpetual Chronograph (Ref 5970) a while back.  But not one to reminisce on this loss, the self professed #Warlock, is showing off another Uber-Cool Patek Philippe watch.

Charlie’s twitpic shows he wears a Patek Philippe Vintage Perpetual Calendar. Recently sold in 2009 for a whopping $707,000, this watch is definitely for #winners, which is probably why Mr Sheen is showing it off. While some in the media are knocking the troubled, twitter-obsessed actor, even hinting that he may be broke, its not hard to see that Charlie’s doing quite OK in the money dept.

With a newly relaunched website, Charlie Sheenism shirts for sale, and even mailing list, fans can now be regularly updated on the happenings in Charlie’s world. There is no doubt that the money train is still rolling for the ‘Two and a Half Men‘ star.  With the latest; the tour sell out, the luxury watch tweets, not to mention the residuals from his enormously popular television show, perhaps Charlie may actually have the last laugh after all. And he’ll be wearing his Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar while he laughs all the way to the bank

As Angelina Jolie has been voted overtime to be the most beautiful women in the world, it’s only natural for her to wear a watch that bears the same rating and class, the marvelous Tank Louis Cartier.

This celebrity watch, just as Angelina Jolie, is considered to be a legend and it’s known that Louis Cartier offered it as a gift only to his closest friends. Today’s version of this watch is just as appreciated as the first was back in 1992 and is still considered to be one of the finest and perfect watches ever manufactured by Cartier. The Tank Louis Cartier is a simple watch, with a leather bracelet, but for the metal exterior, Cartier only uses 18 karat gold. Therefore, it’s the perfect stylish and expensive accessory any woman would want.

As seen in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, Angelina is quite the adventurous type of gal. But what if I told you that the secret agent Mrs. Smith could wear this watch on a mission without any issues? This is because the Tank Louis Cartier has a caliber of 057 quartz movement and because the watch is completely water resistant to up to 30 meters deep and it’s dial is scratch resistant.

Although its functionality is extremely useful, Angelina Jolie might have chosen it for its beauty and style. As a movie star and a fashion icon, Angelina Jolie is truly a wrist-watch connoisseur and she knows a good watch when she sees it. Therefore, the circular-grained crown set with the encrusted sapphire cabochon can take away anyone’s breath. The bracelet of the watch is made out of alligator hide and the dial shows roman numerals for a stylish, yet easy reading of the time. So whether you’re a big Angelina Jolie fan or a high-style woman, the Tank Louis Cartier is the $6,000 watch you should be wearing.

Lyrics to Wearing My Rolex :

“What would we do
Usually drink, usually dance, usually babble
All I want to do is tell you I love you
Thats when i start promising the world to
a brand new girl i dont even know yet
Next thing shes wearing my rolex

What would we do
Usually drink, usually dance, usually babble
Usually drink, usually dance, usually babble
What would we do
Usually drink, usually dance, usually babble
All I want to do is tell you I love you

All I want to do is tell you I love you
Thats when i start promising the world to
a brand new girl i dont even know yet
Next thing shes wearing my rolex
Too much shanks dont know wear my phone is
Here’s my number, she already knows it
This chapters alot, better close it
Just a look in her eye was so evil
Wileys a party guy and she knows it

What would we do

All I want to do is tell you I love you
